Are you looking for statistics about Asian Americans that are not in any of the articles -- something a little more detailed and specific? If so, for a consultancy fee of $20 per hour, you can get detailed customized stats right here. Perhaps something like:
- How many Chinese were married to Filipinos in 2000? How about 1990 or 1980?
- How do the incomes of Asian Indians compare to Japanese in Los Angeles? Or in New York City?
- What are the top occupations and industries for Asian immigrants? How about U.S.-born Asians?
If the Census measures it, I can calculate it for you. However, Census data doesn't measure everything -- it doesn't include religion or health indicators, for instance. Visit this page to view all the variables that the Census does measure. I charge a consultancy fee of $20 per hour with a one hour minimum. Most requests for stats can usually be completed within one hour. Payment is handled quickly and securely through PayPal and yes, you can use a credit card. If you're interested, let me know what you have in mind:
Do you have a short article or research paper about an issue relating to Asian Americans that isn't discussed yet on this site? Is there a particular topic in which you're really interested or which you have a lot of knowledge about? If so, this is your chance to contribute to Asian-Nation's mission of educating the world about issues important to the Asian American community. You can fill out the following form and I'll give your article my fullest consideration.
The only requirements are: (1) it's about a topic that relates to Asian Americans or a particular Asian American ethnic group; (2) it's relatively short -- about the same length as most other articles in Asian-Nation, which is about 1000-1500 words, and (3) you're willing to let me make some relatively minor edits to it if necessary. Of course, you'll get all the credit and own the copyright on it. And remember, "guest articles" like this always look good on a résumé or an admissions application.
